Superior Street Vacation Rental #1

This location was perfect, it was clean and quiet. I would definitely return or rent a vacation place from pictured Rock Vacation Rentals. I am that person that will bring their own cleaning supplies when renting homes or apartments for vacation because most places need to be cleaned when I get there. This place was clean when I arrived.

Great location for exploring the parks and downtown. Cute and cozy place with plenty of space and kitchen area to enjoy meals and talking.
#1 is on the street side so noise and light from the road were noticeable. White noise from the clock solved the noise issue. Blackout curtains would be a nice addition, but if you hike all day, sleep comes easier!
Cleaning crews could take a peek at corners, lights and vents - lots of dust and a few spiders hanging around.
Pictured Rocks Vacation Rentals are very responsive to all communications. I would definitely go through them again. If I chose this location of rental, I would likely look for a back apartment versus #1 at the front.

The apartment was as pictured and very comfortable for my, my husband and 3 teenagers. Loved the location right in the middle of town and above a little coffee shop/restaurant. Walking distance to shops, brewery, food, Lake Superior. The only thing that would have made it nicer would be a view. The bathroom was very small but suitable. The kitchen was great although it seemed like the stove took a long time to heat up. I would recommend they add a tea kettle for us tea drinkers! Overall would definitely recommend, fantastic value!

We arrived on a Friday night. After waiting an hour for the oven to preheat we called the office and then the alternate phone number for current guests. Nobody answered either phone or called us back the entire time we were there. I left another message when we checked out and never got a response to that. Our entire stay the oven never preheated. I stay at rentals instead of hotels so we can cook our own food. I fully understand there wasn’t going to be an immediate fix to the oven, but I was very disappointed that no one responded. We had to make multiple changes to our plans as a result of the oven not functioning as it should. Even the stove top cooked very slow just to fry eggs.

Stayed five nights in June for day hiking the PRNL. Great location - close to many good restaurants, shopping, grocery store, H58, area attractions. Was in a quite location too. Parking in front of building plentiful. Rental was clean. Only suggestions: new furniture. Otherwise, loved it. We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend it, was exactly as described.

Very cute, nicely decorated apartment. Bathroom was small, but we made do. Otherwise everything else was great!! Able to walk pretty much anywhere, restaurants, winery, brewery and grocery store

We enjoyed our stay here with our 18mo old toddler. It was very comfortable and nicely decorated and felt surprisingly spacious. We liked being walking distance to most of the Munising highlights. The stovetop took a very long time to heat up and it smelled like the floor had recently been refinished, but neither of those things bothered us too much. We found it well stocked with coffee and spices despite the description :)

This rental was conveniently located right in downtown Munising. We enjoyed walking around town and to the local restaurants and stores. There are even two breweries located nearby. It was a great location for our day trips to Pictured Rock.

While we wanted a very simple rental for our trip, this place was a disappointment. When we arrived late in the evening, the floor of the place was covered in sand. It appears that it was not swept. When I explained this to the company the next day, the offered only half of the cleaning fee back. Lumpy pillows, moldy smell, doorknob that fell off in the bathroom, dirty pots and pans, and poorly functioning wifi are just a few of the issues with this apartment. I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this was easily the worst.

Had a very nice stay, right in the hub of town. Walking distance to a lot of attractions!

Our apartment was very clean and in a great location. We could walk to everything in downtown Munising, including the doc for the pictures rocks cruise. It wasn't a fancy modern place but, it was perfect and comfortable for our family.

Nice little apartment in downtown Munising. Our family of 5 used this as a home base to explore the lakeshore. Responsive management, clean, quaint.

We really enjoyed our time here. It was great to be downtown and close to restaurants and stores. The place was clean when we arrived and communication was clear. The three room air conditioners worked well to keep the apartment cool. We mostly cooked our own meals, but ate out once at Shooters. The wood fired pizzas were great and they had a gluten free crust available as well which was very much appreciated as I have celiac disease. Just a couple of notes. The bathroom door was stuck closed when we first arrived and the toaster lever had to be held down manually in order to use it. The light above the sink wasn't working either. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay! It was clean and was a nice little place to stay. The owner was around here and there and was very helpful and nice to chat with.
