Moose Tracks

This rental was probably one of the best I've experienced! Our host was very responsive to any question we had, and helped us immensely with multiple scheduling issues. The cabin was clean and orderly, and was in the perfect location! There were lots of outdoor activities in the area. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more!

We had a group of four of us with plans to ride trails and see the fall colors. The cabin was absolutely perfectly located to do lots of that! Super cute, very clean, beautiful little setting that had all we needed. We rode a ton, came back and had bonfires a couple nights and just disconnected. Melinda was super helpful and responsive when needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again in the future!

The cabin was exactly as described! We found it to be very clean, cozy and roomy for my family (4 adults). We loved gathering in the kitchen to make our meals and enjoying them in front of the tv in the family room. Everything we needed was there. We would love to return as we all enjoyed our stay!

Getting this cabin for the night was the best stroke of luck possible. All other hotels and cabins were booked. How this one wasn’t amazes me. Beautiful location in the woods. Cabin was spotless clean. The beds were comfy. I highly recommend using this team for any and all bookings if you are going to be in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Moose Tracks cabin - very nice, cozy, and peaceful. There is a lot of little extras provided and greatly appreciated! The ONLY disadvantage were the final 5 miles of the unpaved roads to get there... Driving a truck would be very useful, but that is not what we drove and that added time to our commutes from and back exploring the area. We were in U.P. for the very first time, fall in love with it, but also learned there is a lot unpaved roads and truck is a must to be the safest and time efficient ;) I would definitely recommend Moose Tracks cabin if you do not plan much driving around or just come by track :)

The cabin was just as shown in the pictures and was comfortable for our family. It is a trek on unpaved roads to get to it, but the location was very secluded and peaceful. After checking out, we realized that our son had left his stuffed bear behind in the cabin, but I spoke with a very kind person at the management office who was able to located the bear and mail him back to us. We are so very grateful!

Gorgeous! What a hidden gem in the woods; well appointed with beautiful wood finishing, super clean and upgraded appliances. Great communication throughout the reservation and check in/out process. Cozy beds, beautiful views, gourmet kitchen and screened porch. Highly recommend!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We planned to stay at this cabin for our daughter's birthday. We thought the cabin was great for the couple hours we were there until we didn't have water. The plumber finally showed up at 1030pm and said the well had dried up. We were then forced to leave the cabin to go into town and stay in an apartment at midnight. Which we then had to be out of the apartment by noon the next day. They then put us in a motel the following night. Not at all what we payed for. Make a long story short they did not refund our request of a full refund. Very disappointed! Would not recommend booking with them.

Manager's Response

The private setting back in the woods was very pretty and peaceful. Cabin came with everything we needed including a grill that wasn't mentioned. The location was convenient for exploring/hiking the Pictured Rocks area, as well as trips to Tahquamenon Falls, Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point and Seney Wildlife Refuge. We wrapped up our trip with a relaxing kayak trip down the Au Train River. Our family would recommend cabin to others.

Cabin was very nice. Had all the amenities that we needed. Plenty of room for our family.

The stay was amazing. The log cabin was exactly as described. It was well-stocked and felt like home. The owner/management company did an amazing job of keeping it clean and providing your guests with all the amenities needed. We came with my elderly parents and it was great to have the bedroom on the bottom floor. My only recommendation since the place sleeps six is having an additional bathroom, but I realize this is a big task. But overall the cabin was amazing and close to a lot of things. All the information provided was very helpful.

This was the perfect little getaway for our twin 9 yr old boys and us parents...we got a chance to explore back roads and do some fishing near by. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and some. We will definitely be planning a trip in the future here again.
