Clean, comfortable, and very conveniently located for our trip to Pictured Rocks. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

This charming rental was in a prime location to shops, restaurants and the Pictured Rocks cruises. In addition, it is close to the many waterfalls and hiking trails. As others have said, this unit has an interesting layout but for just the two of us, it was perfect. The unit was very clean with plenty of amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. We only used the Keurig and microwave, so cannot comment on the stove or cookware offered. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The small living room area could use an update on the couch (squeaky cushions). And as already mentioned, there is a very small table for 2 in the kitchen (not conducive to eating meals). We did not get much in the way of communication from the manager other than a confirmation of our reservation and completed payments. I did inquire/email about 2 days before our stay to get more information and was told I would receive an email the night before our arrival date (wish we would have been told this prior). We would recommend this property to friends/couples or maybe a family with 1-2 small children. Munising is a delightful town and people very friendly.

This unit is a great center for exploring the Picture Rock area, Munising and Grand Marais. We enjoyed its probity to all those locations, and being able to walk around Munising and to the tour boat from our unit.

Such an easy place to stay! We could walk to restaurants and shops, but even though the location is in the middle of everything, we found it extremely safe and wonderfully quiet. Thank you so much for offering it

Great location. Can walk to boat dock, restaurants and shops. Apartment was comfortable and well stocked. Manager responsive. Layout of apartment was unusual and would be awkward if unrelated adults were using the pullout sofa bed, since they would have to walk through the bedroom to get to the kitchen and bathroom.

The apartment was in great condition and a perfect location to walk to everything we needed, including the boat tour launch spot. The only star I took off was due to the bed - it’s a very, very soft mattress on springs and was not very comfortable but everything else was stellar!!

We rented all three units in this house for an anniversary celebration with family. It was a great choice for many reasons. It’s an easy walking distance to the downtown and lakefront. There are so many easy and marvelous hikes to easily access. Having the whole house gave us the gathering spot we wanted, but giving separate units to each lent time for privacy too.

Great stay! Pretty quiet considering the neighboring apartments were also rented. Great location, basically downtown and walking distance to everything important. I would definitely stay here again!

We came for just a few days and enjoyed our stay. The place was decorated in an updated style and cute for being an old building. The layout was a little odd with the bedroom being in the middle of the apartment and having to go through the kitchen and bedroom to get to the bathroom, but I don’t know how they could have done the layout differently. The kitchen table was ridiculously small and basically not usable for any purpose. Overall, was a great location for seeing and doing stuff in the area and able to walk around town. Never found a thermostat where we could have controlled the temp but thankfully, it was comfortable. No outlets in the bathroom was a small inconvenience, and would have liked to have a box of Kleenex provided. Also, one of the ice cube trays in the freezer was awful to try to get cubes out of! All in all, it was perfect for us! Would recommend to others.

We really appreciated the opportunity to stay in this home. Our car broke down on the day before we were to leave to go home. We could not extend our stay at our other rental so we were lucky to find this cute home right in the middle of town. The manager was flexible in our checkout as we were unsure when we could get our car fixed. We appreciated that very much!

Exactly what we needed!

You cannot beat the location is you want to be in town with walking distance to everything in town. For the winter this was especially nice not having to drive to get food, coffee, etc. The property has all the essentials needed, kitchen is well stocked with dishwater and cookware and there’s a Keurig for coffee. It’s a little tight if you actually need to use the two beds since using the pullout sofa takes away the living room space. The exterior is very charming and easy to spot as you wonder back from exploring town.

Cozy place close to pictured rocks and the docks, right in the heart of downtown. Enjoyed our stay!
