Superior Cottage & Bunk House (Extra Fee)

This was one stop on our fall color tour vacation and we legally had a great time here. Most tours and rentals were done for the season, but we had fun looking for rocks on the beach, hiking, and exploring the area. We didn’t spend much time at the house but it was cute, comfortable, and had everything we needed! The rental company was easy to get a hold of and helpful too. Would definitely stay again!

The cottage was nice and close to town. It had everything we needed, and the extra bunk space was nice.

Beautiful cottage, deck, beach, kitchen, furnace. Was one week past Labor Day so quiet surroundings, fun watching the boats and walking the sand bar. Springfield, MI not 'Irvine'.

If you are looking for something that is convenient to surrounding attractions but still offers a lake view, this property works. If you are looking for privacy, peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. It is on a heavily traveled road in a commercial area. The main cottage is small and average quality, suitable for a couple with younger children. If you have adults and teenagers, I recommend you get the bunkhouse as well. The property was clean with the basics; however, some minor maintenance items were a distraction (like the squishy subfloor in front of the shower, the toilet lid that didn't fit correctly, and a few other odds and ends that wouldn't take much to fix). I recommend you call the management if you need anything. I had trouble confirming the bunkhouse. They responded to the first email saying it was available, but not the three sent afterwards asking to confirm it and get access instructions. I had to call from the property and luckily spoke with someone who was able to get us overall, average depending on your needs.

The cottage was very cute and comfortable. The location is beautiful and right on the water. Close to downtown and all the fun activities Munising has to offer.

The home was very cute & cozy. The location was perfect for the excursions we had planned. Lake Superior is beautiful. My only recommendation would be house numbers on the cottage we stayed in. If we would not have had a picture of it, it would have been much harder to know which place. We will definitely visit again!!

We loved the cottage! It was well equipped with everything we needed, clean, and decorated nicely. Absolutely loved our stay!

Perfect cute clean cottage for my husband and with our own little beach! We enjoyed a fantastic stay and the amazing management helped accommodate our numerous last minute changes.

We had such a great time here ! Would recommend to other people, but one thing we found out was municing is a sundown town, considering I am COLUMBIAN, I just feel like it’s a bad look also some
People didn’t treat us right ? Would love to come back again, but wish laws would change. We would love to recommend it to other people but considering it’s a sun down town. Makes us uncomfortable. Met the owner he was great just wish these small things would change as it’s bad for business.

This was the perfect place to stay to explore Munising and Pictured Rocks! This was a cute cottage with a great view. We were close enough to bike into town along the bike path.

Cute little house in a great location, within biking distance from downtown Munising. Well outfitted kitchen. Could use more hanging hooks in the bathroom. Our teenage daughter loved the bunkhouse with her friend. Pictured Rocks Kayaking,right next door, was the highlight of the trip.

Overall the cottage was a great place for our family of four. We included the bunk house in our stay as we have two teens and needed the space (and the additional bathroom). The location - we were just on the edge of town, so close to to everything. However, the road noise was pretty loud. The cottage was really cute and clean enough. The land is a bit deceiving as the green space you glimpse out the kitchen window is private property. The cottage's green space is a sliver to the left that is sufficient. The 'steps' down to the beach were a little sketchy. But the beach was nice. We spend an entire afternoon on the beach, skipping rocks, making sand art - it was lovely! The cottage is right next to Pictured Rocks Kayaking. Was kind of entertaining to watch those boats go out (and hear their horns blow) - downside, when the wind blew just right, you could smell their port-a-potties. We enjoyed our time at the Superior Cottage and would recommend.

The description and photos undersell the location. It is right on the bay with great views. House was comfortable otherwise, and we got the bunk house last minute which worked out well enough too. Limited options for rentals in Munising, and this worked out well for 2 couples and a baby.

Super cute cottage right on Lake Superior. Was able to watch 4th of July fire works right down by shore while having a little fire to keep warm. Definitely would stay again!!! Management responds promptly. Close to scenic locations and easy to get down town.

Clean, lots of beds, small but somewhat private beach. Walking distance to most everything we wanted to do. I would highly recommend.

Nice clean cabin with extra bedrooms. Nice view to the lake and tour boats.

My husband and I rented the small house on the lake and we were very impressed by the cleanliness and how well stocked the house was. The owner was very friendly when we met her and we would recommend this to everyone. we will definitely be back in the near future!!

We loved our stay at this quaint little cottage. Everything was very clean, cute decor, and stocked with everything you could need. Loved being able to walk to attractions and smoked fish. Absolutely wonderful experience.

We loved our stay!! Super cute and clean cottage. Very nice have all the fans too. Walkable distance downtown and short ride to great beaches and trails. Highly recommend staying here.
